Little Bear Cabin has two levels of cozy living while you stay. Take a 5 steps onto the patio and follow the deck around to the front door. Enter on level one and the forest view will greet you. Cook in the fully equipped kitchen and entertain in the dining area. You can also get cozy around the fire and watch some TV (Netflix and other streaming services available). Or just take even more of the view on the front porch (our favorite place to enjoy a cup of coffee). Retire to the primary bedroom with a King bed and adjacent bathroom. Head up the staircase into the kids' room, the perfect hideaway for three little bears. With a dresser to hold all the kid's clothes, toy nook, and dollhouse to keep the little ones busy. Across the hall, you will enter the guest bedroom with a queen bed and a private small deck. And if you absolutely must get on a Zoom call or get some work done, a dedicated workspace will allow you to do so while looking out into the woods. Between these two rooms, there is a full bathroom. Most rooms have black-out curtains to ensure your beauty sleep is uninterrupted. TVs are located in the living room or primary bedroom ( we recommend using the popcorn maker before cozying down to watch a movie). If you are looking to unplug we also have a cabinet full of board games for all ages. Our family favorite is UNO! Central heating is on the wall by the stairs on the main floor. Please only adjust the heating by 4 degrees as to not overwhelm the system. Cooling is felt by opening the windows or using the fans in the upstairs bedrooms, as well as the living room. Our cabin is in the shade, and does stay cooler generally. But we always recommend keeping a the windows open in the hot summer months for a breeze. You can also make a fire. Please do this with great care and follow the instructions we have left for you. We have left enough wood to get you started and warm, but we ask that you supply any additional wood used. All grocery stores and gas stations sell bundles of firewood, so it's easy to find. Little Bear Cabin is in the woods - that means dirt in the summer and snow in the winter. We’d prefer it if you take off your shoes inside please, there’s a shoe rack right at the front door for them. We recommend bringing some slippers to get your cozy going inside. Now allowing pets! Please keep your dog safe by always keeping them on a leash when outside of the cabin. Do not allow your dog to go to the restroom on the deck. Pet policy is $50 fee and max 1 dog allowed. Any dog poop not picked up is a $50 fee
